After a break in at the residence of a Netcare 911 Paramedic on 16 March 2021 the suspects fled with an expensive medical kit belonging to the paramedic that he left overnight in his vehicle. The suspects broke the back window of the vehicle to gain entry.
The suspects dropped the medical kit in the veld near his residence. An obeservant resident, Peter Bailey, drove by and noticed the medical kit in the veld. Peter immediately picked up the kit and reported his discovery on the community WhatsApp groups and that he was looking for the rightful owner.
Local security company Shepherd Alarms that were aware of the incident and the break-in at the paramedic’s house immediately responded and the complete medical kit was reunited with the rightful owner.
